Summer begins next week and I'd like to kick it off with a CD giveaway contest. I have four copies of Starship Troopers - The Deluxe Edition composed by the great Basil Poledouris that I'd like to give out to four winners.
If this title seems a little late in coming I'll explain why. When Varese Sarabande released this title in May 2016 I immediately bought five copies with the full intention of saving four of them for my Christmas 2016 CD giveaway. In the next few months Intrada then released their long-awaited box set of The Ten Commandments and I changed my mind and decided to make that title the Christmas prize. So I've been hanging on to these four units for the past year and would like to give them out at this time rather than wait any longer.
If you're wondering - These are the corrected second pressing units with excellent sound quality. They are not from the first batch with the sound drop-outs. (I wouldn't do that to you!) They are still sealed.

My favourite Paul Verhoeven's film is 'TOTAL RECALL' which I consider one of the best movies I've ever seen. Not only it's a wonderful entertaining movie but it's also thought-provoking in its topic of what's reality. Jerry Goldsmith score is top notch too! I consider this one of my favourites top ten movies ever.
