Doubt it is a new film score assignment. He's in London on the 3rd and Prague on the 16th: https://www.ticketportal.cz/Event/JAMES_NEWTON_HOWARD?idp=1312895 There are plenty of tickets for the concert in Prague if you are interested. Sales for film music concerts tend to be slow burning, so strange that he'd cancel on that basis. Really hope to catch him in Prague having skipped Armstrong and Zimmer.
The schedule still doesn't make much sense even after several concerts were cancelled...
He starts in London on November 3rd with the local orchestra and then only 2 days later the rest of the tour CNSO takes over and does rest of the tour with him... so basically he should be rehearsing his London concert and then spending a couple days in Prague rehearsing for the actual tour, then going back to London for the premiere and on 4th flying to Budapest to meet with CNSO there and continue the tour with them on November 5th?
They tour a few cities and then he has 8 days gap in the middle of the tour?

Perhaps it would make sense if he would be changing the orchestra in the middle so he could rehearse with the new orchestra properly for the 2nd half of the tour... but according to the info I've got it should be all with CNSO except for the London premiere...

He, he....I had actually planned to speak with him when he arrived.
Since I've already met and interviewed him, and seen him live before (not solo live, but with other guests), it's not the greatest loss. But I was really curious about this particular programme, even moreso than the Zimmer concert. I hope they've just postponed it to 2018 or something.
