THE FRONTRUNNER---Hugh Jackman stars in this biomovie about Sen. Gary Hart, whose Democratic bid for president ended in 1987 when he challenged the press to prove he was having an extramarital affair and was then found to be in a relationship with Donna Rice, a former Miss South Carolina and Don Henley's girlfriend, on a yacht named "Monkey Business".





MAYDAY 109---Ansel Elgort (THE FAULT IN OUR STARS) stars in this World War II biomovie about John F. Kennedy, commander of PT boat 109, which was rammed and sunk by a Japanese destroyer. Kennedy was awarded a medal for saving the survivors. His war hero fame was a factor in his successful race for the presidency in 1960. A 1963 movie, PT 109, starred Cliff Robertson.





DAS BOOT---Sky eight-part miniseries sequel to the 1981 Wolfgang Petersen World War II movie is underway. Rick Okon (TATORT) plays the commander of Nazi submarine U-612 in the fall of 1942. Lizzy Caplan (MASTERS OF SEX) and August Wittgenstein (THE CROWN) also star. Jurgen Prochnow starred in the original movie.





AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR---photo shows Iron Man's new suit.
Also, Marisa Tomei said Aunt May isn't in INFINITY WAR, “I didn’t get my invitation yet.” This would be the first time Aunt May didn't appear with Spider-Man in a live-action movie





HAN SOLO---George Lucas commented on Ron Howard being named as the new director of the young Han Solo movie, “I think he’ll be great.” When asked if he had any advice for Howard, Lucas replied, “Nope. Not my job.”
Co-director Chris Miller broke his silence on being fired from the young Han Solo movie by tweeting, "Situation normal", which is Han's line in the brig scene from the original 1977 movie.
Also, a rumor claims Jabba the Hutt will appear in the movie.





AVATAR 2-5---James Cameron hopes the new sequels will offer 3D viewing without audiences having to wear 3D glasses. The sequels will eliminate the need for 3D glasses by using new Christie Digital RGB laser projection, "I'm still very bullish on 3D, but we need brighter projection, and ultimately I think it can happen – with no glasses. We'll get there."
He added, "To push the boundary of digital cinema, one needs visionary, like-minded collaborators and that description fits Christie to a tee... Several years ago we began our relationship, which has worked well, so I'm pleased to be forging ahead again with Christie at my side."

STAR TREK: DISCOVERY---Jonathan Frakes (STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION) will direct an episode. Frakes will also direct an episode of Seth McFarlane's STAR TREK parody series, THE ORVILLE.

FOUNDATION---David S. Goyer tv series underway based on the Isaac Asimov sci fi novels.

GAME OF THRONES---Jessica Henwick confirmed she's returning as Nymeria Sand in Season 7.

IMPULSE---YouTube Red tv series which is a spinoff of the 2008 movie that starred Hayden Christensen and is based on the third novel of the series. Maddie Hasson will play Henry, a teenage girl who discovers she has the jumper power. Doug Liman (EDGE OF TOMORROW) is the director.

CAPTAIN BRITAIN---Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige commented on Captain Britain appearing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, “We have discussed it. There are a lot of actors that come in and ask about that part, so we’ll have to see.”

BETTER CALL SAUL---AMC renewed the series for Season 4.

FAST AND FURIOUS---Michelle Rodriguez threatened to quit the franchise, "I hope they decide to show some love to the women of the franchise on the next one. Or I just might have to say goodbye to a loved franchise."

THE LOWE FILES---A&E reality series starring Rob Lowe and his two sons who go "through the country to explore infamous unsolved mysteries, a curiosity that Rob has had since his early childhood days and has now been passed down to his boys."

THE BLOOD SPOON COUNCIL---Troy Duffy (THE BOONDOCK SAINTS) will direct this movie described as, “The FBI commissions a young, rogue profiler to get into the head of the group’s elusive leader. But their investigation is derailed when the whiz kid engages in a secret game of cat-and-mouse with a mastermind the likes of which he’s never seen.”

VAMPERINA---new animated Disney Channel vampire series with voices by James Van Der Beek and Lauren Graham.

EVERYTHING SUCKS---new Netflix coming of age sitcom.

Uh, they already said goodbye to Rodriguez in the fourth movie by killing her off, before retconning it in the sixth.

Uh, they already said goodbye to Rodriguez in the fourth movie by killing her off, before retconning it in the sixth.

She was also the defacto leader in that last film as Dom had appeared to go evil, and the whole plot of part 6... so what is it she wants exactly?

As a side note, Charlize Theron nearly stole the film from all of them. She is so evil in it. You really hated her, and it was great. That women never ceases to impress me, even in bubblegum such as this series.
