The Day the Earth Stood Sill. (1951) Bernard Herrmann Right on. Way back in the early 50's I looked to see if the score had been released. Hay I was only 9. Wonderful to have these scores at our beck and call. It must have been an exciting experience being 9, your first viewing nice, Thanks for summarising. It is great to get these scores. I do love the Herrmann sci-fi 50s, + other composers Tiomkin, Stevens, H-Burke.
