very enjoyable- the recording is well done.
I love the Recordare from that piece, with that glorious final brass chord. And of course the Pie Jesu was something of a crossover hit in its day. I’m no great fan of Brightman’s soprano but it’s not too distracting here.
What has any of this got to do with film music? not a thing to do with film music. it's a share. a modern composer of Broadway musicals. that tried his hand at a upscale musical.
