Starting at 2:08 thru 2:14 doesn't that sound exactly like something that Goldsmith wrote for one of his THRILLER Scores? To me it really does. Gotta figure out which one it was. Perhaps TERROR IN TEAKWOOD or WELL OF DOOM. Very interesting.

Jerry like most composers for film and TV are "environmentally conscious"

THEY RECYCLE....

:-)

When you have to turn out that much music for TV, it's far from uncommon.

FOUR OF US is dated at 1960 and TERROR IN TEAKWOOD 1961.

I do actually remember Goldsmith using a distinctive quote from a THRILLER Score in his Feature Film score to THE SPIRAL ROAD, which was right around the same time.

Yeah and Hermie threw a little Walking Distance into Psycho at right around the same time, too.

If you're gonna go beyond the thread subject, the jaunty theme in Thriller ep. about Jack the Ripper pre-dated Adrian Messenger, but sounds very similar.

You might be thinking of the ep "The Poisoner". There is a theme played on harpsichord that is very similar to the "Back There " music from TZ
