Is anyone having trouble with strange subscriptions to YouTube channels that they didn't make in the first place?
I'm finding that channels I looked at but once are suddenly appearing as 'subscribed' even I though I didn't initiate them. They aren't random; they're channels I may have perused at one time or another, but now I have to waste time unsubscribing, as though I'd agreed to something by default.
What a waste of time and energy. And a mockery of the so-called 'subscription' stats. A quick google of fora shows many, many people are experiencing this.
I recently posted about a YT glitch, where I was watching something and then the computer lost focus so that the vid froze and I couldn't interact with it. The machine hadn't crashed, and I could interact with other windows running concurrently.
YT just dropped out for a few minutes. It was a weird thing to happen. I never subscribe to anything, so wouldn't know if I've been inducted to something without my go ahead. Do you have to be signed in for that to happen, because I don't do that?
