I can't see King Kong: The Deluxe Edition being around for long.
I remember when the original run went out of print, I believe Lukas arranged for a further 500 to be run off. I've got both versions produced by FSM, for the record. Having checked Amazon and the like over a few years now, I've never quite understood how or why it hasn't ever seemed level with the top billed Barry scores. In retrospect it is a brilliant composition.
I've loved it since the LP, and always will. It's kind of sad to see it gone from availability formally on the FSM front, though, I expect Lukas will be happy he has done his bit.
Wow.. Hawaii Five-O is still around. I know its not 3000 copies, never the less this should of sold out long ago. Magnificent score from Morton, quirky music to an iconic TV show.
Ditto with most of that list, iconic films & TV shows, come-on collectors, FSM cds alway's produced the best booklets in my opinion, most of them were stacked with archive information + pretty pictures-art, a 20% reduction on these is a deal-breaker.
Looks like Poltergeist is gone. I've had the MGM release and thought it to be really good and put off on the back burner buying the FSM. Shoulda gotten it while the getting was good. He who hesitates...

Have you checked other retailers like Intrada or MovieMusic? I suspect Poltergeist is a title they may keep regular stock on.

Yavar
Thanks Yavar! Intrada is out too but Moviemusic still had it, and I had forgotten about them, haven't used them in 4 years. Snagged and bagged(with Spiderman Homecoming for good measure).
