MONDAY, AUGUST 7 STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI---a leaked promotional photo shows Carrie Fisher as General Leia Organa. JAMES BOND---a British tabloid claims Daniel Craig is returning for two more James Bond movies, with the last being a remake of ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE, the first Bond movie not starring Sean Connery, "[Daniel Craig] is loved by audiences around the world and has driven a real resurgence for the movies at the box office, so bosses knew they couldn't lose him just yet. The script is nearly ready for the 25th film, provisionally titled 'Shatterhand' and scheduled to be released in November 2019, so there is no time to waste on getting Daniel locked in." It added, "But the deal is almost done and the idea of returning to 'On Her Majesty's Secret Service' for the 26th movie is really exciting. The film sees James get married, only for his wife to be killed, so it would be an explosive way to end his reign as 007." George Lazenby and Diana Rigg starred in the 1969 OHMSS. Another tabloid recently posted the rumor about SHATTERHAND and said it is based on the James Bond novel NEVER DREAM OF DYING, but author Raymond Benson denied the rumor. STAR TREK: DISCOVERY---Mary Chieffo, who plays Klingon Commander L'Rell in DISCOVERY, commented on the new look for the Klingons, “Obviously the hair was the biggest thing people noticed, or the lack thereof. And I will attest to the fact there is a reason my ridge goes back the way it does. There are sensors and pheromones…There is a whole reasoning behind it that is adhering to what has always been true in Klingon canon…So I deeply believe we are in line with what has come before but is also adding a new kind of nuance.” DEADPOOL 2---Ryan Reynolds released the first official photo of Josh Brolin as Cable. KNIGHT RIDER---David Hasselhoff, who has a cameo and music video in James Gunn's GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2, said he and Gunn are talking about developing a theatrical movie version of KNIGHT RIDER, “I’ve given some ideas to James for KNIGHT RIDER and he responded in a big way. If it does go forward, I don’t want it to be spoofed like BAYWATCH or 21 JUMP STREET. Those films lose what it’s about and you have to respect the fans.” Also, Gunn said he and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige tried to get David Bowie to appear in VOL. 2, but Bowie was too ill, “I wanted David Bowie to play a member of Yondu’s original crew." DEATH WISH---director Eli Roth commented on Bruce Willis starring in the remake of the 1974 Charles Bronson vigilante movie, “We wanted to bring back that great, classic Bruce Willis we all know and love and just do a fun, badass update of a revered classic. I wanted to bring Bruce back to that FIFTH ELEMENT, UNBREAKABLE, DIE HARD glory and have him craft another iconic performance, and I really think he did it. I mean I really think this can be his TAKEN. The fun is watching him go crazy and watching someone slowly move the moral goal post.” SOLDADO---writer Taylor Sheridan said the SICARIO sequel will be a lot darker than SICARIO, "It makes the first one look like a comedy. Yeah. I’m not the guy to ask to write a sequel.” THE THING---Keith David was asked about the ending of THE THING where he and Kurt Russell appear to be the only survivors, "I think they both freeze to death. I’m not sure whether or not, if anyone comes and wakes them up, if the thing will reveal itself. But I can say for sure that if one of them was The Thing…it wasn’t me!" THE X-FILES---Robert Patrick who played FBI agent John Doggett, said he's open to returning for Season 11, “I am totally willing to go back if I think it’s the right thing to do and if they want me to do it. But at this point, no one has asked me anything; I would certainly be interested.” Also, there is no word if the Cigarette Smoking Man or The Lone Gunmen will return. PET SEMETARY---producer Barbara Muschietti said she and her brother, director Andres Muschietti, would like to develop another Stephen King movie after completing their two-movie version of IT, “We’re huge fans of PET SEMETARY. If we can get our hands on that and do the PET SEMETARY we want to do, that will be something. One day, maybe.” ROSEANNE---ABC confirmed John Goodman is returning for the revival series which will ignore the episode from the original series in which Goodman's character had died. Also, Johnny Galecki (THE BIG BANG THEORY) is in negotiations to also return.

They're still trying to bullshit us on these new Klingons? Please, enough already. Are those real metal spikes on their suits? Or at least tough material? Somebody could get hurt in filming, even lose an eye.
