I don't dislike DS9. It was the best ST show to watch if you're into prosthetic makeups, and my favorite episodes are the ones that have lots of actors in rubber. But I didn't care for the space station setting. ST is supposed to be about "boldly going" not broodly sitting. Voyager was a ship show.
Gremlins is dated. Might as well bring back the Goonies or the Monster Squad.
Are you joking? That's the point. 80s nostalgia is all the rage right now.
That's the first reason it has not to be made. Nothing worse than 80s nostalgia by hipsters who at best lived in the 80s in a non conscious state or at an age prevented them from correctly remembering it now. We now get all those pseudo 80s by trust-fund bubble inhabitants that don't know anything about the decade. Second reason is that Gremlins was rubbish to begin with. I remember seeing it in the cinema on its original screening and regretting every second of it. This might be one of the few times where proper CGI would be an improvement over shaky rubber puppets painfully showing their limitations.
Re: Daniel Craig - is he doesn't snooze his way through the film as he did the extremely average SPECTRE, I'm happy, Otherwise, I was fine with a re-cast. And I actually LIKED his films in the series.
Re: Star Trek - yeah, the finale was disappointing. The series went from about average in its first year to really great in it's final two. I wound up loving Enterprise.
Voyager is my least favorite of the series. When it was good, it was great. When it was bad, it was awful. But I said the same thing about TNG, which was dull as church when it was bad...
