I would spring for any of these, although I would think they would have come out by now.

The Pink Panther (1963)
A Shot In The Dark (1964)
Experiment In Terror (1962)
Arabesque (1966)
The Party (1968)

I may be alone in this, but my most-wanted Mancini right now would be the 1979 "The Prisoner of Zenda."

To the best of the best of my knowledge experiment in terror has been released from both CD and digitally. It's not an expanded version thing but it has been released. Regarding a shot in the dark and pink panther, aren't they released as Limited editions in the last five years?

No. There was an article that stated that an expanded "Pink Panther" was coming a few years ago, but so far, nothing.

Well, it seems the "expanded" Pink Panther did get a release, but it was only one extra track - the "It Had Better be Tonight" song as heard in the film.

We really need expanded versions of PP and A Shot in the Dark. Two of Mancinis best work.

Maybe Quartet could do something?? The stems or whatever the techincal name is could perhaps make up a good CD release - as they did with Casino Royale and The Thomas Crown Affair.

The only CD that is available is the old RCA album but not the original recording: unfortunately.

My favorite scene from The Party: Peter Sellers dancing with the hip groovy chick!

A SHOT IN THE DARK doesn't even have a full album. Only two tracks were originally released on a 45 EP, which eventually found their way onto a compilation LP/CD.

Well, I do not know if I was clear but I meant about the 'film scores' not officially released, and not the later versions recorded in the studio (soundtrack album/vinyl).

Exciting film score and movie with the Chameleon Sellers! I like a lot! Is another CD/Film Score we need!

Exactly ... ‘A Shot In The Dark Theme’ & ‘Shadows Of Paris’ I have in a 2004 CD compilation of RCA/BMG, ‘The Ultimate Pink Panther’, but of course, it's not the movie versions... (by the way, the beautiful ‘Shadows Of Paris’ is sung by Fran Jeffries, in the movie/film score).

I also have a box of 2014, released by RCA/Sony, ‘Henry Mancini The Classic Soundtrack Collection’, with 9 CDs (18 soundtrack albums), which has the bonus ‘Meglio Stasera (It Had Better Be Tonight)’, original of the film, sung by Fran Jeffries.

The Twilight Time release of "EXPERIMENT IN TERROR" has an isolated score of the original tracks. Although the main title is mono many of the cues are stereo and sounds wonderful in DTS-MA.
I think "A SHOT IN THE DARK" was recorded at CTS Bayswater and many of the music masters from that facility sadly no longer exist. Fortunately, many of the 007 scores recorded there showed up at other facilities.

I've just finished listening to the blu ray isolated score to "EXPERIMENT IN TERROR" and all the cues are stereo with superb sound.

"Experiment in Terror" and "High Time" are definite options. I think it has been sorted out that there are mono tape copies of "A Shot In The Dark" with the Mancini estate. About all the others titles - I have no idea. I think Stylotone mentioned in one of their press releases that they are also working with the Mancini estate. Maybe one (or more?) of the titles we are asking for are being held up by them...
