And it smells awful if you walk by it. Just these passed couple weeks I've seen: Pumpkin-spice flavored Cheerios. Pumpkin-spice flavored doughnuts. Pumpkin-spice flavored drinks. Pumpkin-spice flavored candy. Pumpkin-spice flavored cake mix. And other products where it's just pumpkin flavored. Not that I've noticed, Dave, but I expect it's only a matter of time. And there's clearly been a misunderstanding about the European situation. We voted to allow Europe into the British Empire, and now all the 27 countries have to vote one by one to join us. And being in south Florida (with hardly anything that can be considered Autumn seasonally) the very image of the pumpkin inspires thoughts of change, and Halloween too! Fall may not have begun here until 9/22/17 at 4:02 pm EST but pumpkins took over on 9/5/17. Every store and restaurant smells of Pumpkin Spice. Perhaps having the original Yankee Candle a few towns away is the reason. On a side note, a FB friend had joked that Pumpkin Spice had become a true Southern thing this time of year. I passed off the comment as silly until a friend who lives down South told me that one of the first things she did after cleaning up after Irma was get her supply of Pumpkin spice candles and hand them out to her family and friends.
