The area around the Intrada office had a street fair last weekend.
I went to it a little late, and didn't see a booth for Intrada. I did see a big blank space in the booth areas, so I'm guessing this was where they were. "They," as in the staff plus the LSO. Performing tracks from Intrada releases.
And I was hoping that they'd do hand-puppet restagings of Intrada cd scenes, like Pegasus' appearance from CLASH OF THE TITANS, or the finale from THE RED HOUSE, all with live orchestral scoring.
I cycled past the Intrada Industrial Park recently.
Don't let their message about their situation being different now fool you. Their operations are delayed not because of JUST the pandemic.
You see, Intrada has a command section that can physically separate from the main engines, in emergencies.*
Which is what they did, to protect their staff and operations. So things take longer because they're shipping from orbit.
But they didn't fool me, nor my tingling Nerdy Sense. When I looked at the simulacra of Intrada Towers they have put in place to make it look normal, I noticed something: their UFBS** registration number is missing from the side of the building.
I can remember visiting the Original INTRADA shop location on Vallejo Street in San Francisco back in the late 80's and meeting Doug Fake and Jeff Johnson. Nice memory.

Zooba, I was in that store in July of 1989 while on vacation in San Francisco. Doug was behind the counter. I remember it was not a very big store but a Shangri-La for film score collectors. Maybe we were there at the same time!
