Was the 45 released on the US? I see only UK 45s on the InterBays.
I don't think it is a particularly memorable theme, considering Mancini's abilities at the time.

Sounds like Ferrante & Teicher or those Ronnie Aldrich 2 piano records. He played both piano parts and was very popular in Britain those days. Maybe an inspiration? I find the roving harmonic structure more interesting than the melody.

A CD release of this would be most welcome. I would also like to see a blu-ray release of "The Mancini Generation" television series. If memory serves me, Burt Sugarman was the producer of this program. Maybe someone can get to him.
