I bought this on a whim when it was originally released, based pretty much on that I enjoyed previous Tadlow recordings that I have. And I loved it from the first listen, great score and recording. It's become a favourite and gets frequent spins. Also, I recently bought the 2CD Tadlow Rozsa concert recording which is excellent and recommended.
I bought it when it first came out and it's great. I think I actually heard this recording before the violin concerto. It's one of my favorites, but my logic has always been if James is willing to throw over six figures at a recording, I'll buy it.....even the Symphonic Jean Michel Jarre.
Duel in the Sun and Ben-Hur just arrived in the mail...looking forward to listening to those.
