Well that was fun...not. What happened is that the "captcha" function became incompatible with our board code around three weeks ago and our programmer had to disable it. This is what separates humans from bots in the registration process...and allowed some nasty spammers to get in and wreak (pointless) havoc. Our programmer has since found a new captcha that he will be integrating with the board code ASAP, right after cleaning up the damage from last night. Thank you for your ongoing patience. Lukas

The thought occured to me that it might be Rory or some other person recently kicked off, but he didn't seem like the person who would know how to do it.... I have to be honest and point out that there's something a wee bit unsavoury about all the 'Nya, nya' rejoicing and diving on RoryR after his expulsion. He was no doubt ejected for his sort of aggressive stance and his political interjections, according to the rules. But this playground gloating stuff everybody's doing would at one time have been seen as very bad form. Let it lie. But I think everybody knows full well that he's not the sort to have done something like this. Read better between the lines. I have no idea if he 'would know how to do it' because stereotyping intelligence from the PERSONA, yes, PERSONA that someone ADOPTS, yes, ADOPTS here is a mistake. And naïve, frankly. You can tell nothing about what people are really like from the net. The most sugary and sweet could be manipulative and passive-aggressive manipulators, and the toughest 'ape' could be a sensitive genius. The guy chose a persona. He overplayed it. Let it lie. He wouldn't do this.
