I see that Louis CK is now a member as well. He seems to be the only one so far that has copped to it outright.
He also seems genuinely taken aback that anyone would be surprised by it, after positing himself to be a slightly greasy perv in his on-and-offstage persona for so many years. Much of his shtick is based on how outrageous he is.
Can't believe anyone is shocked about Takai - I was reasonably active in Star Trek fandom in the 80s (John Johnson and I were the video crew for a number of UK Trek cons) and when Takai was guest of honour at a con in Liverpool in, I think, 1985 (when I was just 22) a number of the con organsisers warned me that liked young men my age.
Hollywood seems to be largely made up of hypocrites who lecture us about this, that, and the other thing but turn out to be the end who are actually doing this, that, and the other thing.
Anybody hear Louis CK's apology letter? It's basically a "I'm so awesome and powerful and that's why all this happened. And now that somebody spoke about it out loud, I'm apologizing". It's kind of disgusting.

Hypocrites? Perhaps. But the power dynamic is persuasive in all fields of work. Doctors, lawyers, right down to migrant workers.
Frankly it disgusts me the only thing people pay attention to are sex scandals. Thus the reason the flood gates are open. There's so much crap going down on this planet and most of it is not getting addressed.
