Literally stumbled across the CD, in a music store, about 3 hrs ago; really enjoyable, too ('The Mission' chorales are particularly interesting). It seems to have appeared out of nowhere - I had no idea this was in the works!!

If hadnt been checking itunes genre soundtracks for new's, would have missed it as well.
What a terrific (and probably underrated) composer.
Looking back, Yellow Submarine is one of the first scores I had that wasn't called "Star Wars". As with so many scores from that era I'm now really enjoying "the boring parts".

The DVD of Yellow Submarine --- and maybe the Blu-Ray? --- has the score isolated on a separate track. It's a pretty good score, and has a lot of quirky, odd parts.
