I picked up 10 discs for $2 a piece when they did a different sale a while back. Most, if not all the titles I bagged had some great tracks of merit. The Richard Harvey adventure score is cool and The Lightkeepers by Pinar Toprak is lovely, once you get over the fact it might have been written by Thomas Newman (on an exceptionally good day)
I agree Pinar sounds quite advanced in composing, I own only one score, The River Murders, most of the tracks are lovely, really varied in instruments the melodies work 100%, I'll be on the look-out for Toprak in 2018.
Wow...thanks for the heads-up...I've been stalking the Moviescore website for a few months looking for new composers/scores to try out...picked up a bunch from this sale, can't wait to give them a listen. Kind of reminds me of the old Columbia House days where you'd order 20 cds and have a glut to listen to when they arrived ;-)
