There are so many STAR TREK Novels that were also available as Audiobooks out there. They are usually read by someone connected to Star Trek, like James Doohan and George Takei. They also feature original background music. A lot of them have music by multiple composers. The name Sam McCaley (don't know the correct spelling) keeps popping up in the spoken credits at the end in many of them.

Anyone a fan of these STAR TREK Audiobook scores or their composers?

I remember hearing a few of these… they tended to be sparsely spotted, and what was there was usually very low-key and moody, but effective. A few of them had adaptations of the Courage theme, and at least one had a very cool alteration of the tail end of that theme, giving it an “Also Sprach Zarathustra” spin.
