I wish there was a volume control feature with Quartet's sound samples.

I adore this film, have ever since seeing it with my wife and mother in the theater in 1990. I was a big fan of John Le Carre, and this film just nailed it. I also adore Jerry's score. I was so glad he had a chance to go full-bore lyrical for once. But I too felt that the album just went on and on, so I dunno about an upgrade. We'll see if it hangs around long enough for me to change my mind. Almost kinda hope not, so Quartet gets their sellout and I don't get tempted.

I wonder why the new cues were noted with an asterix.

In the end, it rewards the viewer for patience. In a nutshell.... and FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! The Russia House is one of those scores that has grown on me over the last 25 years. With every successive listen , I always wonder why I didn't take to it immediately.

I love this score, definitely one of my favourite Jerry soundtracks. Tense, melodic, gorgeous. Ordered!!!

Maybe, but if one-thousand copies sell out, then there's a completely valid argument against that.

No; that's one thousand people who bought it, so they obviously disagree to some extent, otherwise they'd have Thored it.
