Cool offer (despite steep shipping costs), but who would buy this release when there's already a new movie in the works? Personally, I'll wait untill Scott has finished his ALIEN stint and then buy everything on Bluray (I currently have the ol' 9-DVD Quadrilogy set).

Why anyone would want them past Alien3 is beyond human understanding.

The Alien Anthology set for me, arguably the best Blu-ray set ever released. The First four films in various cuts plus extras & docs that would take you a week to get through.

The Alien3 documentary is especially good in that set.

I agree with Thor, why would you want to buy a set when they are going to make a few more? But that is a nice price. Those bonus features are probably the best of all box sets. Also I am probably the minority that enjoys Prometheus. I hated Alien 3 and 4.

I adore ALIEN 3 (esp. the extended cut) -- still David Fincher's best movie to this date, even if he doesn't recognize it himself -- and I've come to appreciate ALIEN 4 over the years, more as a Jeunet film than an ALIEN film, perhaps. BUT....we do wholeheartedly agree on PROMETHEUS. Very refreshing to see another person who likes it around these parts. That's rare.

I doubt Ridley Scott is going to make more than ONE more movie in this franchise. So I'll buy a BluRay set then, even if more movies by other directors are made later on.

Let's hope there's room in The Mouse House for biomechanoids.

The last Alien movie I saw was Resurrection. And what I remember most was what a fabulous night it was. My birthday, in Chicago, a friend and I were at a some kind of special screening and then we ended up, um, drinking a lot and wandering to different bars until about 5 am (when we got in trouble with our significant others because we never called them or otherwise indicated we'd be out later than the end of the movie).

Anyway, I've always had positive thoughts about Alien 4 that, really, have nothing to do with the movie itself.

Alien 3 had good actors but they wasn't used right with an under-whelming script, at least be armed with some sort of artillery its a prison, instead they use wooden spears plus other naff weapons, there should've been a flame thrower as a deterrent, sitting ducks running around.
