Attention U.S. TCM Subscribers: Although many have compared the re-make unfavourably to a previous version released a decade earlier, 1941's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde has many attributes as well including a noir-like focus on the title physician's more beastly and repressed thoughts and desires. Although most of the film was scored by Franz Waxman, some additional scoring was composed by Daniele Amfitheatrof and Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco.
