It has been delayed numerous times but he tweeted earlier this month (December 6): On December 20th, The Northerner Diaries will go out to Kickstarter Backers in digital form. Rest assured we have all of your contact data. This has been a joy to create this music for you. I’m humbled by the support and I thank you for your patience! I missed the campaign - but did anyone here contribute? This is NOT the entire symphony he is releasing today...it is just the Diaries. Some "work in progress" I believe I read. I won't defend him but yeah, a lot of people have complained about ordering physical copies from him and not getting anything (or in one case, waiting years and finally getting it in a crushed envelope). I wish I had a suggestion to help you. That was around 10:41a.m. PST - so we'll see. Interesting that he calls in an album - so still really curious about this. Fortunately I got my money back via PayPal, but I would much rather have had the CD. Shame it can’t be brought elsewhere. Unfortunately, i’m Unlikely to buy anything directly from this composer again until he shows he can actually deliver what was purchased and not just take the money and run like he tried to do with Skyrim. He promised a symphony with orchestra and after several years, is finally sending out some sketches that are (allegedly) synthesized. Yikes! Sad that the King of Kings Kickstarter hasn't even managed 300 backers yet in comparison (Rozsa a much greater composer) though it seems likely to meet its goal thanks to a few generous donors. Sorry to hear others have not had the same experience. It is good music. Yavar I don't mean to come off as a jerk but whenever I hear Soule's music I think "sounds like Bruckner just not as good". I don't know the specifics about what transpired here but just a little something to add. A Hollywood orchestrator Nick Poch put together a kickstarter campaign to get a session together to record an orchestral version of Tool's Schism. For $20,000 he came up with this. Just read through the comments on Kickstarter -- though you have to wade through a lot of "where's my refund!?" posts and stuff.....but yeah as others have said, this campaign has been horrible all the way through. At one point he said he would stop even updating the KS and only post to Facebook (and as you can see, there've been no updates for a long time, so he did in fact do this). On top of many contradictions and and many other issues..... But nothing in the email so far (and yes, all of my info is still current). It's been, what?, 3 or 4 years?
