Speaking for myself (though I'm sure many of us here would also be up for it), I am very interested in hearing some examples of some of the musical works you've created.
Sherief Abraham and Charles Thaxton, to name two, have shared what they have done over the years and I have enjoyed their work very much.
I know there are a few others who mentioned that they dabble in composing and recording, so maybe some of you can chime in and point us in the direction of where your material can be found.
That would be a lot of fun and we might get to hear some really nice stuff. Young, old, guy, gal... it's all good.
* = "Fallen" was a well-done superhero short film that apparently in an attempt to get a wider audience, managed to get screwed over and never got shown. I did the music for the initial trailer, but I never got to see the trailer with my music in it. I was offline and the director decided to do a more tense and dark trailer. I ended up helping the director find his composer though: Carl Johnson (from "Batman: The Animated Series").
+ = This was trailer music for a short film. Well, an attempt. In the end, I think I did some of the worst intentional music I've ever done, just to try and satisfy him. I found out later he had been doing this to multiple composers at the same time. Classy! This version I my favorite of the efforts I did.
This is what I'm talking about. Justin's been holding out on us. Didn't you ever post this stuff on FSM before? I've been around here for going on 8 years now but I don't remember ever seeing anything by you. Maybe I just kept missing it. Anyway, I'm enjoying it a lot--thank you for putting it up.
I honestly don't recall. I maybe have posted some links in a thread or two over the years.
I also did music for two or three of the Composers Challenge contests with threads here at FSM; pretty sure I have the full music up for all three on my Youtube channel.
I have an Onya Birri myspace page that I haven't checked in years and years. The music appears in the queue, but I can't play it. I don't know if I need to log in to hear it, or if the files disappeared in an upgrade.

I moved recently. They are on a computer that I use only for music. I haven't hooked it up yet. If anyone still has a myspace login, I will be curious to know if the files play when logged in. Search for Onya Birri myspace and you will find it. The track titles are listed but they won't play.
EDIT: I just logged in and the files are not working for me.
I will have the computer hooked up in the coming months and can find a way to post them then.
Keep it coming, all. I plan to take a look-see in this thread on a daily basis and maybe hear something by someone who will perhaps one day forget all of us little people they knew on their way up. I would encourage everyone else to give a listen on a regular basis, too. I would not mind if this thread became a sort of catch-all venue for everyone to air out their musical laundry.
I keep thinking that this had to have been done before, but after some searching it looks like doing it in this fashion has been untried up to now. So much the better.
Yes would be great to hear from some budding composer, songwriters n orchestrators who keep such talents a secret.
Exactly. If someone was creative in ANY musical way, be it (as you say) in the areas of songwriting, composing/arranging, or even something like orchestrating, designing sound, or what-have-you, this would be the place to "strut your stuff", so to speak. (I should be locked up for that horrible run-on sentence.)
