Julian Glover has appeared as the villain in The Avengers, Dr Who, Star Wars, James Bond, and Indiana Jones franchises.

Christopher Lee in Dracula, Star Wars, James Bond, and Lord of the Rings.

That's quite impressive.

What other actors have had roles as villains in numerous film and TV franchises?

My favorite character actor, Michael Ironside, has a face made for villainous roles.

Total Recall
Extreme Prejudice
Scanners
Watchers
Spacehunter - Adventures in the Forbidden Zone
Voice acting on Superman - The Animated Series

I'm sure there are others not coming to mind at this moment.

Jack Cassidy.

And he did it with gusto.

Julian Glover has appeared as the villain in The Avengers, Dr Who, Star Wars, James Bond, and Indiana Jones franchises.

PLUS Space:1999 and Quatermass. I count them as franchises (a word I hate, btw). As genre acting credits go, that's bloody hard to beat! smile

Oops, I forgot Blakes 7. An amazing roster.

Villain in the Most Film and TV Franchises?

That's probably Darth Vader.

Since villains are characters. Unless people in this thread think all the actors they have brought up are villains.....

Christopher Lee in Dracula, Star Wars, James Bond, and Lord of the Rings.

Lee was also the titular villain in five Fu Manchu films.

And, are Frankenstein's monster and the Mummy villains, heroes, or just misunderstood?

Lee also played "Rochefort" in three different Richard Lester MUSKETEERS films. How many does it take to make a franchise?
