Anyone else going on Sunday? The pianist is longtime Rozsa advocate Sara Davis Buechner. Details below:

It is an honor for me to play this upcoming concert at Temple University with great colleagues, of music by legendary Hungarian composer Miklós Rózsa (best known for his Hollywood classic scores like Ben-Hur and Spellbound), whom I was privileged to meet and play for. I am joined by violinist Stephanie Chase and cellist Jeff Solow (who worked intensively with the composer) in presenting several of Rózsa's most important early chamber works.

This will be a deeply personal and celebratory event, with audience chat and personal reminiscences.

Program details below, with photo by Jeff Solow. Admission is free and there will be a post-concert reception. Please come and enjoy!

I would love to attend such a concert but of course distance is the limiting factor. I was just listening to Rózsa's Piano Sonata played by Sara on youtube. Certainly some fantastic playing. This should be a very worthwhile outing for those within travelling distance from Philadelphia and certainly as the concert is free.

This sounds like a very nice event. Wish I could attend....
