Leontina is very close now, thanks for the kind words my friend
I grabbed 3 titles from this sale. ANNE & ALET, which I raved about in it's own thread. OMAGGIO DONAGGIO (not played yet) and LEONTINA The latter I have just finished listening to. It's very nice music. Quite sad and bittersweet. Small in scale. A tad repetitive...BUT that repetition leads to the fantastically earned last two tracks, which provide a catharsis to all that's gone before. They bring forth quite an emotional tug in the beauty of their release, after the aching melancholy of the previous cues. It's a shame scores like this and ANNE & ALET get lost in the constant yanking of our chains for the next holy grail (I'm as guilty as anyone of overlooking smaller scale music scores for the latest Danny Elfman and JNH etc) and it takes a clearance style sale to take a punt on them. Available income is a major issue for many, I'm sure. Plus the ability to play the music via Spotify and the like. Anyway. I'm happy I bought this tender and lovely score CD. I will revisit it and ANNE & ALET a lot.
