Finally got my CD copy of this and spun Disc 1 this evening. Man, that Swimming cue is just ethereal/dreamy brilliance. The minute I heard it in the episode I knew I'd love it forever. While I don't really like the Main Title theme for the series by HGW, I love how it's used in The Commuter, which is a score I didn't really notice while watching the episode, but like very much on the CD (more dreamy textural loveliness). He gets plenty of mileage out of that series theme, which he uses in his other episode too. I'm struggling with the Crazy Diamond music, but I haven't watched that episode yet (I still have 3 to watch). I haven't played disc 2 yet, but I already know I love Autofac from watching the episode. Strange how so many additional composer credits there are in the booklet notes. McCreary has 4 for his episodes!! I think this CD set would be right up First Breath's street. He'd just plotz over the first cue (Andromeda's Eye) from Impossible Planet.

"Plotz"? Never would've guessed McGann was Jewish!

^ Aha! Didnt notice that the last cue is a variation of the Main Theme! (I always just skip the intro, lol) Yes, Amazon makes better shows, imo. Specially Man In the High Castle! I am eagerly waiting for a season 3 soundtrack! This last season was so amazingly scored! Still waiting.

Plotz! Haha. I think I read that in an old FSM mag long ago. Maybe that McCann dude is Jewish? I'm a McGANN (like Natty).

Plotz! Haha. I think I read that in an old FSM mag long ago. Probably me. I used term in a letter to the editor and they put it in the title - with the definition!

I think this is the first time I was ever the first person to purchase a title! Cool.

I wonder how well this has sold for the La La guys? Judging from the chat here...not very well.

Just finished disc 2, but I need to give it a proper re listen. Nothing really jumped out to me as particularly memorable and I really got bored of that synthy build-up/sudden cut-off effect that now permeates everything in society today!! Also, Autofac didn't seem as good as I remembered it and did seem to be missing a particular piece of music that I recalled really liking? Oh well. edit, I've just noticed acathla mentions the missing Isham bit above
