LPDM012 + SPDM004 (LP + CD and CD versions) "The true OST of “I Have Met a Shadow" ("Ho Incontrato un’ombra”) only came out on a promotional album under RCA’s label Pegaso, with Romolo Grano’s music beautifully arranged and conducted by Berto Pisano. Fortunately, we managed to recover the stereo master in excellent condition which had been assembled in the 70s for the limited edition audio vinyl. It’s one of the rarest recordings on the collector’s market. The master tape includes virtually everything that had been recorded for the TV series and which was re-edited in different scenes." LPDM011 + CDDM293 (LP + CD and CD versions) "Riz Ortolani composed one of his best scores during his long career with this one, an epic symphonic score where a heroic main theme played by horns and orchestra follows the group of courageous men to their deaths. At the time this OST was recorded, no LP or EP singles were released, but one melody was included as track # 1 on the B side of a rare Japanese album (Cinedisc 5010), on the OST from the movie “The Amazones” (aka “Le guerriere dal seno nudo “). This same song (Tr.10 on our CD) also appeared in the eighties on a French compilation LP of scores to Westerns, but was not included for obvious reasons on the reissue of “The Amazones” CD (Point PRCD113), nor on the previous CD from “A Reason to Live, A Reason to Die” (Point GFCI 105)." CDDM285 (CD release) "This orchestral / electronic score by Stelvio Cipriani has finally been dug out and is released for the first time on CD in its complete version. In 1984 Cinevox Records released an LP (MDF 33.166) with twelve tracks (33:39 minutes). In addition to the stereo master tape assembled for the original album, we discovered almost 13 minutes of previously unreleased material in mono that brings our CD to a total time of 46:12 minutes."
