I’m personally hoping for a release of lots of SGU - that stuff was very different but cool despite whatever opinions you may have of the show.

I'm happy to report that SG-1 is now in stock and shipping out a wee bit early. YEAH! Ford A. Thaxton

Purchased! Also, count me in as another voice who would LOVE additional Stargate releases. Joel Goldsmith’s music for the franchise deserves to be appreciated and enjoyed. It depends on how well this one sells. Has anyone received their copy yet? Ford A. Thaxton

Got my copy today along with The Untouchables. Both sound fantastic on my setup, and both of them make me feel sad that Joel couldn't score the rest of Stargate with an orchestra. Speaking of orchestras, how big was Joel's for SG-1? I know he got a lot of sound out of the 40 players he had for The Untouchables pilot just like Shirley Walker and her crew did for Batman: TAS. I seem to recall that the orchestra was around 55 to 60 players for the pilot. I'm glad you picked up THE UNTOUCHABLES, it's a really outstanding effort from Joel, wonderful main title theme. Ford A. Thanks also for the bonus disc, Jobman. JOBMAN was a really cool little score that Joel did about 1990, years before Zimmer's LION KING. He was rather proud as I recall. Ford A. Thaxton

Just got mine as well, along with Helen of Troy, which I never picked up for some reason (and also the Holdridge vol. 1 collection, autographed no less). Stargate sound great! Heck, this coming out got me to start rewatching the whole show - I dropped out somewhere in season 5 for no particular reason, enjoying it a lot this time around. And I second the thanks for the bonuses, both Jobman and The Thing - unexpected pleasures.
