James,
If possible, could you give us some updates as the new James Bernard sessions occur and perhaps even a couple of
videos? Thanks for your consideration!!!!

This is very welcome news...hard to believe it's happening this weekend. Wow!

I had the good fortune of viewing and more importantly hearing much of the sessions this weekend. Nic Raine and the City of Prague Philharmonic are phenomenally good on both this score and 'Curse of Frankenstein,' with reconstruction maestro Leigh Phillips weighing in from time to time. The process was fascinating to observe, and I was struck by how quickly players in two or three takes made it sound not only like the 1958 score but as something they've been playing their entire lives.

The final result is going to be outstanding. If you're a James Bernard fan, you will snatch this up. If you aren't a James Bernard fan, this CD will make you into one.
