I don't believe it's a typo when he says "A 10 years old sneaks" into places because there was a film from 2008 involving 10 year olds sneaking into places. It's a play on words so to speak.
There were also Nazis and Jewish prisoners and a lot of interpersonal conflicts.

And add to this equation as an album making a CD debut format premiere release? We may have something!
Really an ignorant movie, with a maudlin, manipulative ending. Score was OK, but not great.
I agree totally with your view here, John. Film went nowhere, really disliked it. I don't recall a note of the music, so it must have been forgettable as well.
If all music in films that aren't remembered are forgettable, then personally 99.9% of all film music is completely forgettable, because I never really remember music in any film when watching, good or bad.
I would be very glad if it was really The Boy in the Striped Pyjamas! I've been longing for a CD release since the movie came out. I'm not a big fan of the movie either but the score is one of Horner's best, a real emotional rollercoaster.

It's kind of a shame for Intrada, but if this is the new release, like last week's "…Airplanes," I would have bought it a couple of years ago, but have listened to the download enough that it's way, way off my rotation.
If I bought these CDs, it would only be out of some strange desire to own them in plastic, and I don't have that strange desire.

Then why are you posting here?
Because 99.9 % of those movies with forgettable music have been in the last several years.
If I watch something a little older, something usually catches my ear. Most music made in the last few years has been totally meaningless to me. I'll even give something a chance apart from the film and end up not getting why it's considered to be good.
Then again, I don't answer to you. I'm just offering a reply to that claim. Why don't you ask them the same question about posting in this thread?
Wow you even took the time to use the 'angry' icon. Jeez...
Also the only way to have ever gotten it on CD was to get one of those FYC promos off of eBay.
I did, four years ago. Around $60, I seem to recall (yay for tax refunds); it also was my final purchase of a promo on eBay. I am very happy this wonderful score is finally seeing the physical light of day. Undecided right now as to whether I want to double-dip...I'll look at whether there's anything unreleased on Intrada's release, sound quality, booklet etc.
A big tip of the hat to the Hamsters...they're on a serious run (of the hamster mill) this year!
