I came across a copy of the Original Broadway Cast Recording of Beauty and the Beast during our Saturday outing and picked it up. I just finished listening to it. I have not seen the production, only the animated and film releases. I am on the fence about the new songs added to the musical version. I truly enjoyed the listen but found myself making constant comparisons without even realizing it. I may have to have a few more listens before I have an opinion.
It would be wonderful to take in this production this year.
