Who is? And who isnt? Interesting that they didnt show the robots implied running riot massacre - merely the aftermath.

Ah ha, could be joanie. I wasnt sure what i felt about ep2. Like you im a bit battered by the back n forth timeline. Tbh i hate back story and time switches in anything. Whenever im watching a scene where they show you someone dying then go "three days before..." i am groaning to myself "oh f**k" - im just so bored and irritated by timeline switches. Its still very watchable, altho i think the concept of it and what it promises - its potential - is probably more appealing than what it has delivered so far.

Is it just me, or is Season 2 a bit flat so far? Maybe it's just my high expectations after such an exceptional first season, but I find myself not as engaged as I should be at this point. 3 episodes in...and not much is resonating. I dig the buffalo in the revised title sequence!

Im kinda with dave on this. A guess a robot/human war is brewing at some point (if its at walking dead pace it could be 10 seasons away!) And weve had one skirmish already. but it all seems a bit aimless and meandering so far. Then we get an additional India-world and a woman fighting a tiger. And they had a way of checking that the boss girl is human but not a way of checking Bernard?

I quite enjoyed series one of this (although I have to admit, there were times when I only hung in there cos of Dolores = swoooooon) and I haven't watched any of series 2 yet, but I wonder if it's suffering (like Walking Dead to some extent) because viewers are now spoilt by the likes of Netflix, Amazon and even Channel 4 box set series deals, where they can watch an episode or two and then plough through the whole thing if they like it. Maybe the days of waiting a year to 18 months to catch the next series is passing us by? I don't know anyone who's been enjoying this new series (from listening mainly to the peeps in work), with comments ranging from 'I hate the different/confusing time lines' to 'they left it too long between series'. Quite a few have abandoned it after only the first 3 episodes!!

And they had a way of checking that the boss girl is human but not a way of checking Bernard? They were going to scan Bernard, when they found him on the beach, but someone (who thinks Bernard is human) recognised him and they didn't check him after that. Oh ok. Thanks for that. I seem to recall them finding him but not why he wasnt checked.

Ok whats the verdict so far? Just had the samourai world episode. Its good series but a bit disjointed. Or at least the direction seems like a pinball. Im finding im a bit bored/less engaged than series 1. Cant quite put my finger on why.

And it was annoying that episode 4 had a big reveal at the end regarding William’s daughter, but that storyline isn’t in episode 5. It just feels like we’re wandering around the park slowly getting to some sort of conclusion, and I’m just not caring a whole lot. There is a lack of...something...

If you recall, another, faster version of paint it black was in the western section in series one. Samourai paint it black was that quirky, slow-tempo version.
