Just finished it. Anyone else? Opinions? Loved the music, again. It was going great until the end. They needlessly stretched out the climax. PLus, they added a bit too many twists. To sum up: really enjoyed most of the season. Not crazy about the wrap up. brm p.s brava Joan Hue for guessing the "bigger picture"!

It was a fkn convoluted mess that promised loads, looked good, threatened to be great - then just went mental and up its own arse like a robot short-circuiting. Hey, maybe that was the idea? The robots malfunctioned...so the script did too?! I can just see some desperate exec writing that one down and doing a press release, to insist that was the intention.

This was priceless "WESTWORLD---HBO head Casey Bloys defended the series after fan backlash complained that Season 2 was too complex and confusing, "I wouldn’t agree that the backlash was widespread. The people who love it really love it, even the people who dislike it feel the need to discuss it and talk about it and let you know they dislike it and debate. And for a show to arouse that kind of feeling, that’s what we want... It’s not for casual viewers, it requires your attention. Jonah and Lisa like to challenge their viewers and many feel rewarded by that. It’s a unique show and that’s what we’re looking for"

At least one ep too many. Maybe two. Lots of filler e.g. the Indian story he tells to the girl... Shootouts at hq.... Two Minor complaints: every corporate type constantly dropped f- bombs as if that signified douchebaggery. No female nudity, dammitt. P.C. strikes again

The bison stampede in the finale was really impressive. My understanding regarding the post-credit scene is that it’s way in the future and the man in Black, according to the showrunner, is not a host but “something different”. What the...?

Unlike GOT , I really do not care enuf about the storyline to spend time trying to decipher it. GOT has a story that rewards careful viewing and study. It is so well written. WW is a hodgepodge of good and not so good. I watched on a large screen . I suspect it plays poorly on small monitors where the spectacle fades and the plot takes more prominent place

amazon reviews make for interesting reading. People who criticize it are right and so are the fans! Hopefully, the producers will take seriously the complaints as they are pretty right on esp. the excessive filler and running time, plus too much gore!

Boy. Judging from the lack of responses this year, season two must have flopped as far as viewership. any figures released by HBO?

Id imagine the viewing figures must have nose dived as dramatically as the walking dead. But wait...thats what they wanted. As long as people are discussing why something got so bad, thats twisted as a victory.
