So I've been (re)listening to a few Geoff Love CDs in the car recently and I started wondering: what do (or did) the composers make of all those Joe Bloggs And His Orchestra albums that we don't get any more? Not just Geoff Love, but any of them? Did they not care about them at all and just cash the cheques? Were they flattered? Insulted? Did they ever listen to them in disbelief at what had been done to their music? Did Ennio Morricone ever sit down with that Geoff Love album, and what did he think? Or did they listen and think "hmmm, I actually like what he's done with the flutes there"?
