Does that mean there won't be a download option? That's to bad.

It means I won’t be able to get this, without paying double of what you US-residents pay. Thanks for your empathy and compassion on that.

Why would there not be a digital release? Of course there will be.

Maybe there's been a release date change. These things happen.

A second theme from Yellowstone - a beautiful, romantic piece, violin solo:

Boring, bland theme. Too modern-ish.

Have not watched the show but is the score mostly on the quiet Americana side or is there any suspense/action material in it?

YELLOWSTONE is a soapy affair with mostly stock character-types, though a few interesting ones (the son who is married to a Native American woman for example), just interesting enough to keep me watching from week to week. I keep thinking I want to see Kevin Costner's character duke it out with Pierce Brosnan's old dude from THE SON... I mainly notice the music when it is screechy and irritating, which it is several times per episode. I'll listen more carefully but haven't heard much so far that would entice me to buy this. Hey, who knew that Brian Tyler has the same hair stylist as Conan O'Brian!

I've heard 10 minutes of music, maybe (in 5 episodes available today). So, please wait for a CD. There will be a complete composer's vision, not a few minutes in the series.

Has anybody here actually ever seen Brian Tyler and Conan O'Brian in the same room at the same time? I doubt it! And the names... Can that be a coincidence? I'm afraid that from now on (until it's proven otherwise) I'll always have to think of them as one person: Conan O'Brian Tyler!

The score will be released by a different label than Varese. That's the reason why CD was removed from Amazon.com

I have an unconfirmed information, that CD will be released in EU on September 7, 2018 by Sony Classical.

Please be patient, #TeamBrianTyler

At the beginning of a recent episode it sounded just like the theme from Unforgiven.

Interview from the press-kit - Brian Tyler talks about "Yellowstone":

"It has been incredible working with amazing director Taylor Sheridan on this project. His artistic vision encouraged an unbounded approach to composition. The visual canvas and thematic narrative of Yellowstone inspired me to create music that is intimate, tragic, and impressionistic in ways I have never before thought possible. I worked with so many phenomenal musicians from around the world ranging from the London Philharmonia Orchestra to superb soloists on viola, cello, and fiddle to capture the human soul behind the story. I strove for composing music that would support the complexity of the story and its characters. The tone of the music needed to reflect melancholy, joy, regret, intensity, revenge, love, tragedy, and beauty all at the same time. The music echoes tones throughout by use of thematic melody that feels it is at the heart of an epic yet intimate saga, while at times creating atmosphere that pushes the boundary of where music and sound converge. Taylor created a magnificent world and music was a central part of his overall vision to give Yellowstone a unique identity. It was a true challenge, and one that I am eternally grateful to be a part of."
