I know there's always going to be somebody to have their feewings hurt, but Lennertz's "signature" looks like the random scribbles of a four year old. I could probably close my eyes and re-produce it.

I was just thinking about the GSPO the other day. Do they still do film music concerts like that series Varese was doing? Maybe I have blinders on to the posts about the concerts, as I do not live in California anymore and couldn't go.

Last December, GSPO and Varese put on a fantastic concert that paid tribute to poster artist Drew Struzan. It showed his artwork on a big screen, while the orchestra played the scores, including music from Star Wars, Raiders of the Lost Ark, Cutthroat Island (John Debney conducting), Shawshank Redemption (Thomas Newman conducting and Frank Darabont introducing), Hellboy (Marco Beltrami conducting), An American Tail, The Muppet Movie, Beauty and the Beast, Police Academy (Robert Folk conducting), Blade Runner, and E.T. I'm probably forgetting something too. The GSPO also still does their annual holiday concerts (the last one was a week after the Struzan concert) and their next upcoming concert is next month and features video game scores.
