There's a lot of great stuff there... I wish there was some Alfred Newman though I know I know, SAE has spoiled me!

Yeah WA, Hell and High water is a good Newman score on the Kritzerland Fuller at Fox threefer...and I like Harline's score to House of Bamboo even better so you should really check out that release! It's basically $3.33 per score new on sale now. Yavar

Oh that's right, I don't have a few of these AN cds!!! Snake Pit, Razor's Edge, Bluebird...it's SO tempting to just Alfred out lol!

Thanks for the links, kam! HOUR OF THE GUN / THE RED PONY CONCERT SUITE 9.98 This was a total no-brainer for me. I haven't checked out a lot of HotG, however I am a HUGE fan of JG's Westerns (at times he even comes close to reaching the dizzying heights of How the West Was Won imo). As far as the Red Pony rerecording YAY! I adore the original score.

And since we'll probably never have an expanded CD of the original tracks for Hour Of The Gun, I can live with a re-recording of the full score (plus, I can keep the half-hour of the orginal tracks on the Intrada CD). Great deal! You made a great purchase. Looking forward to hearing what you think of the scores. Just thought I'd let you know that the Intrada CD of Hour of the Gun is not original tracks, but a reissue of the unique LP album recording. It is conducted by the composer and overall faithful to the original, except for some reduced orchestrations (similar to Waxman's Taras Bulba album recording). The original film recording of Hour of the Gun has actually *never* been released and appears to be lost, aside from an isolated music & effects track included on the Twilight Time Blu-ray of the film. In addition to including all the previously-unreleased cues, the complete Tadlow recording is from the full original orchestrations. Yavar
