I read that last year. Entertaining enough for a second read. I may be remembering things wrong, but I recall a video from a convention panel in which somebody involved with the song in some way talked about how the studio recording initially only had one "Woo-oo!", right at the very end, and it was only a later decision to tack one on after each instance of "DuckTales!" This falls in line with the suite Ron Jones had on his site a long time ago, which began with the song but you only heard "Woo-oo!" the one time. Since we're on the topic, I guess I'll say that a few years ago I'd get endlessly frustrated by the fact that the theme song always got so much attention, but nobody ever talked about the score. Whenever *I* tried bringing it up with someone, most of the time I had to clarify I wasn't talking about the song (or for that matter, the Moon music from the NES game). It completely baffled me - DuckTales has a masterpiece, orchestral adventure score that you'd think would stand out in a crowd. Yes, the song is incredible and super catchy and memorable. But if you're not giving the score its due attention you're ignoring a massive chunk of the show's heart. At least, that's how I felt. Nowadays i just feel lucky if the other guy doesn't bring up the reboot.
