But, since you won't stay away from this place even after you've won your 2nd Oscar, how about 'Dracula' by Williams or, 'The Last Run' by Goldsmith, or even 'The Miracle of Our Lady of Fatima' by Steiner?

What should it be? First up for me...Seamus by Goldsmith! Well, FIRST of all Lukas, I think you should buy a new car. Second of all, I hope you record Shamus instead of Seamus. And third of all, what would you pair it with, since I think the score is only like 23 minutes long? Pursuit? Pursuit and another lost Goldsmith score? (The Man?) Yavar P.S. I'd wish for you to do all those old late 50's/early 60's John Williams scores like KRAFT/ALCOA theatre etc, like Silva Screen/Tadlow are doing with the early Goldsmith THRILLER scores. Get Leigh Phillips to orchestrate/arrange them by ear (if the scores don't exist) and perform them using the similar ensembles from the time. That would be cool! Jerry Goldsmith, too.

Aside from Intrada already recording The Red House in complete form, I'm also a bit surprised at the suggestion for The Last Run. I adore the Goldsmith score but there was already a faithful re-recording conducted by the composer for the LP. I had the impression from Lukas in the FSM liner notes that the album was virtually complete, albeit out of order (but easily programmable). What key cues were left off that you would want? In all seriousness Lukas, I think your "crazy" priority shouldn't even be re-recording a score...it should be producing the FIRST EVER recordings of the written but unused (and apparently unrecorded, aside from synth demos perhaps) Goldsmith scores to Babe, The Kid, and The Public Eye. Yes, Mike Ross-Trevor has said the latter was recorded, but it certainly doesn't seem to be extant, does it? Scott Bettencourt says all three (and perhaps more?) are stored in written form: "One especially useful collection for film music historians is the Jerry Goldsmith Music Sketches, which even features his cue sketches for such unused scores as Babe (the pig, not the golfer), Disney's The Kid and The Public Eye." http://filmscoremonthly.com/daily/article.cfm/articleID/7443/Film-Score-Friday-4716/ Maybe it's nuts to spend a lot to record scores that nobody has heard, but on the other hand it truly is OTHERWISE LOST Goldsmith! And from the 90s no less...I wanna hear what he wrote for the original "darker" version of Babe (I still think the movie's pretty dark at times, to be honest). Here's the "90% of a written score" (so says Dan Goldwasser): Surely a fellow Goldsmith nut like you would want to uncover these gems which can't even be heard in the film? Yavar
