Whoa, really?? Wow! Glad to see some more Fried releases while he's still with us!

Gerald is fitter than me. I believe he will survive everybody. Everybody.

And who, pray tell, are you?

Caldera Records:

Could that maybe mean you're talking with him because you are looking into a release of one of his scores?

I would love a reissue of Fried's exotica masterpiece "Orienta," released under the name the Markko Polo Adventurers. Here is the money cut, composed by the great Vernon Duke:

Wasn't aware of this score, but very good news, Fried doesn't get much love with boutique's so its an interesting release/find to me, a possible purchase, well done Caldera, thanks.

Okay.
If you want ONE POTATO TWO POTATO, you'll get ONE POTATO TWO POTATO. It's not that we don't hear you.

Has anyone ever gotten a reply from Caldera Records after sending a message via their website?

You can help me by reissuing Fried's exotica masterpiece "Orienta," released under the name the Markko Polo Adventurers.

I was trying to get in touch with composer Ilona Sekacz in UK, but havent had any luck getting replies. I'm not sure if my emails have reached her. She wrote a nice score for a 1989 tvmovie, sort of reminiscent of Gunning's Poirot music, and Caldera has released some of Gunning's music....I dunno where you are located (I know the label is German) or if you know how I might get in touch. I doubt anyone will release the music, so I thought I'd ask her about it.

That's quite a coincidence because I approached Ms Sekacz a few weeks ago. There are two scores of hers we want(ed) to release, both owned by itv who we have a good working-relationship with (due to our Chris Gunning releases). However, Ms Sekacz' agent proved to be especially unhelpful and Ms Sekacz is more difficult to get in touch with than John Williams. I have received no reply from her whatsoever and neither have friends of hers who also approached her about Caldera and our plans. To put it short: I have tried to approach her via every channel and our requests certainly reached her but no reply reached us. And we need her tapes.

Thanks for the response.
I never got a reply from the agents allegedly representing her (as found via google). I tried tracking her in the news (via google) and contacting people mentioned in the communities she was working or living in, but no response. She still seems interested in music, but not soundtracks.
There are lot of positive comments for her music on "Boys from the Blackstuff (1982)" on youtube:

The score I wanted (which I like better than the movie itself) was "In the heat of the day" (Granada).
