Looking forward to some 20CF scores from Kritzerland before Disney takes over their assets. Are things being worked on right now ? Anything from 20CF already in the pipeline, Bruce ?
I recommend finding any of the 100 times I've answered this question this year.

Agreed, I never had the original can't wait to own & play this, love listening to Fielding's work this being a lot earlier i'm even more pleased to get it, big thanks to Kritzerland well done.
Got my copy today 8/11.

Very enjoyable and well worth the wait. I much prefer the film order to the album order (the film order is given in the notes for those wanting to program accordingly). I also prefer the flow of the music without the two source-music cues. That said and done, the music is terrific, and presented in very good sound. Already, after three or four plays, I'd go so far as to say this could well end up being one of my favorite Fielding discs.
I tried to do both album and film orders but Sony wouldn't allow it. Very strict there.

This isn't the case with every release, so I'm curious why companies are sometimes so restrictive (even to perpetuating mistakes) when you're paying to license the music. Composer stipulation?
In the case of Sony, it was about publishing royalties - for them, including the same tracks twice doubled the mechanical. I tried to explain I'd done it before several times without that being the case, but they have their ways and you can't really fight it.

Well, thanks anyway for including the film order information in the notes. Sort of makes the rest of that discussion moot, since we have the tracks and can re-order them anyway we choose for listening purposes.
Yes, easy/breezy these days to do exactly that, which is why I made sure to include that information. And the score absolutely plays better in show order.

Thank you for the explanation. Given you would only use one set of cues, would Sony allow you to re-arrange them? Just curious how restrictive they are (there's another new release where the label seemed to be restricted over that, as well as correcting track names - I don't know what copyright owner he was dealing with).
As for what Dana suggested, not everybody has easily programmable equipment. I find it easier to burn a cdr if I want to re-arrange tracks (although it would be nice not to have to), so I'm glad you included the film order track list. I havent received the cd yet, so I don't know if it will be necessary.
