I was reading the entertainment section of The N.Y.Times a couple of weeks ago, and saw a headline about (a show), 'Brooklyn Nine-Nine' cancelled by Fox and picked UP by NBC. The article went into some depth about how it's millions of fans were rejoicing about it's 'being saved'. I had never even heard of this show, but, moving here from Brooklyn, I checked into this show further. Netflix had 4 or 5 seasons of the show, and after reading many reviews from fans who loved it, I rented Season One, Disc One. Hilarious stuff! Actually, I realize it's fairly 'low-brow' stuff, not unlike a prolonged Saturday Night Live episode, and yet, I find myself laughing out loud a great deal viewing this show! I believe it's the entire cast's chemistry that works here, but in particular, it's Andy Shamberg and Andre Braugher. Braugher, (who's face seems to have no expressive muscles to indicate happiness or pleasure), and Shamberg, who's basically a little boy who's never grown up. Set in a Brooklyn Police Precinct, what's not to love? Any other admirers?

ALSO, The main theme is a great throw-back to (every) FUNKY 70's T.V. Cop Show. Who wrote this?

I LOVED the first 2 or 3 series! Really funny stuff.
But like most everything, it kinda went stale for me afterwards and I bailed on it not long ago.
It's very much like a police version of SCRUBS. Another show that started out amazing but tailed off big time as the series went on.
