I see nothing listed for this soundtrack, apart from a poor 1-minute synth rendition of the Main Title on a compilation. But I watched this British movie on TV a few nights ago and it had a neat and noir-ish score, dark and mysterious for the most part, with a jazzy theme appearing now and then. The preposterous-but-enjoyable film stars an entertainingly-devious Robert Newton plotting revenge against his wife's lover. I'm wondering if anyone knows about any past or present (or possibly future) availability of this score.
I suspect that most of us were unaware of Nino Rota until the Fellini films became popular in the mid-1950s. In fact his earliest movie credit was in 1933. And his last in 1979. That's a career longevity to rival that of John Williams. But then you realize that Rota died at the relatively early age of 67. Amazing!
