Britten's "Young Person's Guide" was artfully featured in Wes Anderson's "Moonrise Kingdom," including the entire closing fugue being used for the end titles. Great film (if you like Anderson's quirky, auteur approach) and nod to Britten!

The end title music from MOONRISE KINGDOM, (cue entitled "The Heroic Weather Conditions of the Universe, Part VII: After the Storm" on the soundtrack album) was in fact composed by Alexandre Desplat, mimicking Britten's "The Young Person's Guide to the Orchestra, Op. 34: Themes A-F" (used at an earlier point in the film) but actually highlighting the instrumental elements of his own original score. I loved the film, as well as Desplat's use of Britten's music and choral compositions along with his own contributions.
