He was 85. And it seems like Yesterday that I watched in awe as the Enterprise was up there in the sky. Here! Indelible moment. Wonder what Capt. Christopher's grandson (and maybe even great-grandson) is up to. His son Shaun (oh that name) did Pops mighty proud.

I just looked him literally a few days ago wondering if he was still alive. That happens a lot.

An early version of the "Law and Order" television series concept was the ABC series "Arrest and Trial. The 90-minute series spent the first 45 minutes on "The Arrest," where Detectives "Nick Anderson" (Ben Gazzara) and "Dan Kirby" (Roger Perry) brought in the suspect, and the second 45-minutes on "The Trial," during which Deputy D.A. "Jerry Miller" (John Larch) prosecuted the suspect while attorney "John Egan" (Chuck Connors) defended him.

The series debuted on Sunday, 15 September 1963, from 8:30 to 10 PM. Unfortunately, the first half hour of the show came up against the latter half of the #8-rated "The Ed Sullivan Show" on CBS, and the final hour went against the #2-rated Bonanza" on NBC. "Arrest and Trial" was cancelled after a single season.

In COUNT YORGA, VAMPIRE, "Michael" (Michael Macready) and "Donna" (Donna Anders) and another couple, "Paul" (Michael Murphy) and "Erica" (Judy Lang), attend a seance at Count Yorga's (Robert Quarry's) Victorian mansion outside Los Angeles, hoping to summon Donna's deceased mother. Later, Paul finds Erica behaving strangely -- she gesticulates wildly, knocks over furniture, and attempts to eat a live cat. Paul consults "Dr. James Hayes" (Roger Perry), who, after examining Erica, testing her blood for vampire venom, and noting the marks on her neck, swears that she has been bitten by a vampire.

Robert Kelljan wrote and directed the 1970 film. William Marx's score has not had a release.

None of the score appeared on the "inspired by" album released by Pride/MGM Records.
