"Damn, that's a good-lookin' lady. Probably still shines like a new dime, too." Just yesterday she guest co-hosted CBS TV's afternoon gab fest, "The Talk." Here's one of several highlights you can find online: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KNrHGN_ZmQM

"Angels on Ice": Chris Monroe goes undercover as an ice show clown, as one does: Her looks are obscured by makeup and clown nose, her resplendent blonde hair is under a helmet, and she's even in a fat suit for padding against skating stunts and prat falls. They took one of the world's hottest-looking women and literally covered up every cosmetic thing she has going for her, and yet her performance is still arresting. She's expressive, emotive, you can't take your eyes off her. I mean, don't look for too much gritty realism in the writing, but she's terrific. You might even want to skip the episode and accept my word as fact. It's one of those two-parters where they stretch a one-hour story with an hour of filler. http://www.themakeupgallery.info/various/clowns/caice.htm

Man...quite a few of the photos posted here are obviously airbrushed! What you are seeing here are contrasty, low-res web images enlarged beyond their detail content, photos of photos, photos of TV screens, and other low-quality ephemera. The full-HD transfers of CHARLIE'S ANGELS (currently airing on MeTV) are extremely sharp and clear. I'm here to tell you, Cheryl Ladd's looks were for real. None of the Angels needed trickery to look good.

I had Cheryl on my bedroom wall. I too saw Farrah as plain and Cheryl anything but. Definitely better looking and fuller figured. Jacklyn Smith was almost as nice, but Kate Jackson? Nah, a dark haired Farrah compared. The other two pin ups were Debbie Harry and Joanna Lumley as Purdey. These two were slightly more erm.. effective as they both sported stockings and suspenders! Thought I was getting away with a lot with those on my wall at 15 years old. Almost expected mother to rip 'em off the wall at some point, but she never did. Guess she thought it was a good sign!
