Mine is FSM for sure! I've been a member here since 2001, and I like everyone even if I don't get along that well with everyone. I understand I can be a bit much at times, but I'm having a great time here and consider you guys good friends.
There's only a few I visit. FSM of course, & because I'm a big film fan, Home Theater Forum & Blu-ray.com.
Hi Rameau! I'm also a member of Blu-ray.com, but haven't posted in years. But it's a great site too.
Yeah, I like to know what films are being released on Blu-ray & read reviews, but they can be an argumentative lot over there, even worse than FSM!
I check it out every day for the latest Blu-ray news. I've been checking it a lot lately for any news of The Criterion Collection releasing GODZILLA films, there have been some rumors online about that.
I'm not on many forums right now. I'd have to say FSM is the best, simply because it's mainly about scores and politics and religion are not allowed.
I used to enjoy TrekBBS a lot, but there was a shift in the personnel there and it's not what it used to be. Plus, Google AdSense is making demands of what can posted otherwise they will yank advertising, which funds the site. Now, because of the change there, I post only a small fraction.
Boxing's my #1 sport/hobby, above scores/movies. Worked in boxing along time traveling around the UK, abroad, I did box when I was younger had an accident, give it up, I like using that forum to talk about historic fights & gamble against hedge betters then watching them cry with bad language.
FSM is the only one I post on regularly. There are a few others where I posted once of twice over a period of years. I'm a long time lurker on one or two forums. Before FSM I was a regular on the SciFi channel forum when they rebooted Battlestar Galactica.
Years ago, I used to post on the force.net. But for a while, their rules became so constrictive, and their moderators so overbearing and brutish, it was ridiculous, so I just stopped. They would ban you for the silliest of "offenses". They're still pretty hypersensitive there.
Whilst FSM is my first port of call, I regularly visit (and occasionally contribute to) Naim's forum. It helps, of course, if you have an interest in this brand of hi-fi but even if not, if you're looking for info on hi-fi hardware or streaming then there's plenty of advice. Some of it can get a bit technical but it's worth viewing.
And they have a Padded Cell section which covers this, that and everything else ... including the occasional funny joke!

I love it here.
Sometimes moderators get a lot of heat and don't deserve it. They're very patient here at FSM and it takes a lot to get a warning or banned. Other sites the moderators are power hungry or over sensitive and I always feel like I'm walking on egg shells. Like you I stopped posting on that forum.
